Custom Computer-ARM WorkStations for Hospitals and Clinics

From Proximity Systems: Computer Workstation Designer, Engineering Firm & Manufacturer

• Affordable, Wall-mounted and Retractable

“One of our main concerns here is we don’t ever want to have our back turned to the patient. Since the kids are here for extended periods of time a lot of space is taken up by couches, chairs and things to make the room comfortable for the parents, as well as for the children. With the Proximity C-ARM WorkStation, the monitor and keyboard section swivels away from the unit to a position where you’re actually standing in front of the patient, yet the way it’s designed you really are not taking up any more of a footprint in the room when you are using it as when you are not using it. Really, really an ingenious design.”

A custom Computer-ARM Workstation with an articulating arm is particularly useful for face-to-face interactions with patients in semi-private rooms, between beds, in exam rooms or other areas where wall space is limited.

The articulating arm allows the work surface to not only be adjusted for height, but to also extend up to four feet from the base and swivel 180º. This provides freedom, mobility and the option to position the computer screen and work surface near the patient, allowing both the patient and clinician to view the information at the same time.

The arm-mounted retractable work surface fits standard LCD monitors, providing a large workspace, wire management, and storage space.

The storage cabinet can hold a PC, medications and medical devices.

The Computer-ARM WorkStation’s work surface folds down to provide a spacious work area and retracts to provide privacy and protect equipment.
